report card
This semester in physical education I am pretty proud of myself. I feel I have been improving each fitness class and I will continue to increase my endurance as we continue on with the year. I really want to increase my fitness levels and my stamina. I try to come to class with a positive attitude and be enthusiastic about activities. I have forgotten to bring my PE strip twice, and attend classes with the exception of excuses. I surround myself with my friends and people who motivate me to try my hardest. I definitely feel that I have improved since the beginning of the year, and hope to keep improving.
I have had back problems and have asthma which does sometimes hinder my ability to push myself to the best of my ability, but I have learnt not to make that an excuse for not participating. When I'm in pain because of my back I don't push myself as much I would like to but I also don't sit out because of it. I try to do what I know I am capable of. On choice days I usually chose volleyball, badminton, or the weight room. I would like to say that my friends decision does not affect my decision but it does. As funny as it may sound I like fitness days better than choice days. I like running more than going to the weight room or playing badminton. I try to make the best of whatever activity we do and although on some days i do not give 110%. I really want to work hard but some days I feel I lack motivation. However, I would like to work on that and find something to motivate me to try my best.
I try to eat healthier and think twice about what I am putting into my body. I have learnt that when our body says its tired and it can't go any further you can always push yourself to get to that last beep or that last lap. I have also learned that there are many others ways to be active and healthy other than just at school or when your playing in a team. For example there are many workouts on YouTube, as well as many other exercises we have learnt at school that can be easily done at home.In class I show leadership by encouraging my peers to try their hardest for example when we do pond run i encourage those around me by motivating them " we only have 10 minutes left come on!" or when we play games or activities I try to take initiative and get involved with whats happening instead of standing around. I always try to help out with little things at the end of class for example if we were on the upper field I would pick up the cones or the footballs, or when we are in the gym i would help collect the pinnies, dodge balls and help put the net away if we were playing volleyball.
I do not have evidence because all the pictures and videos I had of my friends and I got wiped when my phone got showered on. I was not being very smart and did not upload them onto my laptop or post them on my blog which I should have done. One of my main goals that I wanted to improve was my flexibility. I find exercises and stretches and do those at home to help me achieve this goal. I can't say I have reached this goal yet, but I have seen improvements and I am determined to get there. Another thing I have been working on is my upper body strength. I will have to admit I am not as dedicated to this goal as I am to the first one, but I definitely do want to achieve this. I hope that in semester 2 I can focus a bit more on this goal and hopefully see some improvements by the end of the year! Another goal of mine is to start uploading more evidence that supports what I've said.

Midterm
So far this semester i think i deserve an S because i always come prepared to pe class with a gym strip and a good attitude. Although some days im not in the mood to do the activity we have planned for pe i always push through and try to make the most of what we are doing. Although some days i slack off when i know i can push myself to do better. I personally enjoy pe now and have seen an improvement in my overall fitness,my asthma sometimes hinders me from pushing myself to the best of my ability but i dont use that as an excuse to sit out anymore. Im striving to work harder and push myself further than my comfort zone.
